April Activities

With the end of these constant lockdowns now finally within our reach, it’s time to start planning all the fun things we can do in April, with the new looser, restrictions. From the 29th March we are able to meet 6 people, or two households outside and from the 12th April all retail will be open and other outdoor activities. So here are some ways to keep you all occupied until June 21st!

You may be extremely bored of going on walks at this point, but there is nothing like a long, refreshing walk on the beach. With the easing of restrictions, we are able to travel further out of our local area meaning accessing beaches is totally fine. It may not be warm enough yet for sunbathing and a swim, but sometimes just sitting on the beach to read or chat is so rejuvenating. If you are going as a family you can have a day of games on the beach finished off with fish & chips and ice cream! If you’re a couple looking to do something a bit different, you could have a lovely sunset picnic, with bubbles of course, and talk about your plans post lockdown and get some cute quality time together.

In April we still won’t be able to mix inside but you can finally start going to beer gardens! Who thought the day would ever come? If you’re celebrating a birthday or just want to celebrate finally being allowed out, London have some amazing venues which are a little more special than the beer gardens near you. The Prince in London, is a beer garden paradise with some of London’s most exciting food and drink. The beer garden is beautifully decorated with flowers and neon lights making this the most Instagramable venue! This is open day and night perfect for lunch or for evening drinks, with also a retractable roof making the venue so versatile, no matter what the British weather has in store for us.

With retail finally being able to re open after a long 4 months of being shut, nothing sounds better right now then a day out with our best friends, having a look round the shops, grabbing some food and getting our nails done.

Last but not least, a drive-in cinema is perfect for a movie date night. Instead of staying at home, this gives us a perfect opportunity to switch up date night and try something new. You don’t even have to stress about leaving your car, so zoom/movie night attire is totally applicable.

There is plenty to do for all age groups and genders so there is no excuse for us to be sat at home any longer while we wait for June 21st!
