Do have a keen interest for PR? A passion for all things Social Media? Number Nine Communications is seeking a PR and Social Media intern to support a fast-paced and dynamic PR and Social Media team. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for beauty, fashion and lifestyle and wants to gain a great understanding of how the industry works.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking, saving and monitoring all coverage 

  • Ownership of press, celebrity, influencer database

  • Compile adhoc, weekly and monthly coverage reports, sharing successes with the wider business

  • Create seasonal and trend led email blasts linking to NPD and core products

  • Support on all launch campaigns and events

  • Accurate and up-to-date filing system for newspapers and magazines

  • Overseeing and assisting with mail-outs for new product launches

  • Responsible for organic performance of all social media channels - including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.

  • Create relevant content - including shooting, editing and copywriting.

  • Foster and engage a thriving community, and maintain a solid service level agreement to manage comments, messages and other interactions

  • Working with our Social Media Manager to ensure cohesive and effective paid and organic social strategies and activities.

  • Manage and foster relationships to help meet social media KPIs and key objectives - including influencers, brand partners and content creators.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English grades A-C or equivalent

  • A Levels or equivalent, including English

  • Educated to degree level


Previous Experience / Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred

  • Good level of creative writing skills highly desirable

  • Genuine interest in the beauty industry

  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational, communication and writing skills

  • Possess outstanding administrational skills and exceptional attention to detail and spelling

  • Excellent level of computer literacy in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

 

 
3-month contract with the potential for this to be extended to a paid position. 

2 days a week, 10.am - 3.pm with an hour lunch.

Unpaid, travel will be paid for.
